UPDATE 12/11/24 Transferred to OHS
Great on leash! mellow boys
Donner and Blitzen ( shelter holiday names) "Hold it" in their kennel, so they may be house-trained. They get cold in this weather, and are not made to be outside dogs. Hounds are sensitive and loving dogs, and sometimes vocal, so not suited to live in apartments or close together housing. They need a home(s) that will provide good exercise (as do most breeds) but hounds are couch potatoes when tired.
These 2 boys love to play together
"DONNER and BLITZEN" (brothers)ARE both Available (together or separately)for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Hi, I'm Donner! ( Blitzen) I'm a 2-year-old hound mix with a zest for life and a
nose for adventure. My history may be a mystery, but one thing's for
sure: I'm ready to find my forever home! As a hound mix, I have some
classic traits: I love to follow my nose (which may lead to a bit of a
prey drive!), I'm quite vocal, and I have tons of energy 🌟 This means
I'll need a family who can provide me with plenty of exercise, mental
stimulation, and a secure environment where I can explore safely. I
dream of having a large fenced yard where I can sniff and play to my
heart's content!
I arrived at the shelter with my pal Blitzen (his animal number is
331818), and we would be THRILLED to find a home together 💕🐾
Most importantly, I need a loving family who will appreciate my playful
energy and hound dog quirks. If you're searching for an active and
affectionate companion (or two!) to share your life with, I might be the
perfect pup for you!
