Blitzen lived with his brother Donner and they came in as stray dogs to another shelter. The 2 dogs loved each other and liked to play together there (they were later transferred to OHS) (note: I've no info on Donner- wish I knew what happened to him. They were sick when they were transferred)

adoption special $200
- My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet.
- I really enjoy the company of my human friends.
- I'm friendly and sweet-natured but don't feel the need to constantly be with you.
- I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.
- While I may be okay with the occasional canine friend, I'll never be a dog park kind of dog.
- Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
The type of home I'm looking for:
- I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
- I may prefer to be the only dog in the home.
- I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
- I will thrive with an active lifestyle! I need someone who is looking to go on long walks, and allow me to do what I do best-- sniff! I may never be completely trustworthy off leash.
