I'm really treat motivated, so some snuffle mats, puzzle toys, and other forms of food-related enrichment could do me wonders! I also could do SO well with leash training to be your perfect walking companion with a treat pouch on your hip. Ask to meet me today!

"ROCKY ROAD" beautiful tri-color PUPPY, Heeler, Shepherd mix- good cats, kids, dogs "STUMPTOWN STRAYS"

UPDATE 1/6/25 ADOPTED or on hold

"Stumptown Strays" is a wonderful local Rescue that helps shelter dogs in need of medical assistance.

"ROCKY ROAD" is Available for adoption with STUMPTOWN STRAYS

3 months, female Cattle Dog, Heeler, Shepherd mix, large size full grown

kids, yes, dogs, yes, cats, yes

adoption fee $600....Spayed/Neutered: Adoption fee includes the spay/neuter when she is 6-9 months old

Personality: Affectionate, Brave, Curious, Friendly, Funny, Loves, Playful, Smart

This time of year, it's easy to over-indulge on treats. And why not? Life is hard, have something sweet. By the way, nothing is sweeter than a 3 month old puppy. The last of our Dessert Litter, Rocky Road is ready to find her forever home. She promises, like a big slice of pie, to make things a bit better.

The puppies came to us after their mother died. At 4 weeks old, they were too young to take care of themselves and we were asked to help. Their mom was a cattle dog mix, but we don't know who the dad was. Maybe a husky or shepherd? Based on her current weight, we expect Rocky Road to be 60-70 pounds fully grown.

Rocky Road is well socialized to kids, adults, and other dogs. She is very friendly, funny and playful. Rocky Road was the smallest of the litter. Tiny but mighty, she's brave, curious, and ready to take on the world. She loves a long walk and would thrive with a human adventure partner.

Rocky Road was born with eyes that are slightly too small. The ophthalmologist thinks Rocky Road's eyes will continue to grow as she does so this will be just something to monitor. They are already so much better; we can hardly tell at all!

Puppies need vaccines every 3 weeks until they are 16 weeks old. Until those final vaccines, they don't have enough immunity for dog parks and the like. However, Rocky Road has 3 rounds of vaccines and can enroll in puppy kindergarten and socializing groups. This, along with continued training, is highly recommended. Puppies are a lot of work, but like a complicated cake that turns out just right, very much worth the effort.

Rocky Road is microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea and heartworm preventatives. Her adoption fee includes her spay when she is 6-9 months old.

At the end of a long year, if someone asks you if you have room for dessert, say yes. Next year, start things off right with a new best friend!

Hi, I'm Galileo! I'm a 2.5-year-old playful pup looking for my new best friend. I'm an energetic guy who loves to be active and would thrive with an adventurous human. I enjoy exploring and playing, and I'm always up for a good time. I'll admit, I can be a bit of a goofball sometimes - I get excited easily and might jump up to say hello (I'm working on that!). I also have a playful mouth, but I'm learning to keep those teeth to myself. Because I'm so full of energy, I need a home with a fenced yard where I can run and burn off some steam. While I haven't always had the best luck making doggy friends in the past, I might do well with another dog in my new home. We'd just need to have some slow and careful introductions to make sure we get along. I'm also working on my leash manners - sometimes I think it's a game of tug-of-war! With some patience and positive reinforcement, I know I can improve. My previous family mentioned that I may have some separation anxiety, but with a loving and understanding human, I'm sure I can overcome it! I really love getting pets, especially around my ears and haunches, so don't be shy about showing me some affection! If you're looking for an active and affectionate companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with laughter, I might be the perfect pup for you! I promise to bring lots of love and joy into your life

APPALOOSA ID # 335185,  female, 10-11 weeks(age estimate) 31 lbs  NOTE she will be LARGE

Hi there! My name is Appaloosa, and I'm a super-duper energetic lab mix puppy who is ready to bounce my way into your heart! I'm still learning my manners (sometimes I forget that those cute puppy teeth are a bit sharp!), but I'm a quick learner and eager to please. I'm always up for an adventure, whether it's a walk in the neighborhood, a game of fetch, or just a cuddle on the couch (after I've burned off some energy, of course!). I'm a real people pleaser and I love to shower my humans with affection. Did someone say belly rubs? I'm a big fan of toys, especially the squeaky kind! And I'm always up for a game of tug-of-war. Okay, maybe I'm a little biased, but I've been told I have the cutest puppy-dog eyes. Because I'm still young and learning, I need a patient family who will be understanding and help me grow into a well-mannered dog. All this puppy energy needs an outlet! I need a family who can keep up with me and provide me with plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation. Think long walks, playtime in the yard, and maybe even some fun training classes! I'm eager to learn, and I would love to go to puppy school to learn all the good pup manners. If you're looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion who will bring endless joy (and maybe a little bit of mischief) to your life, then I might be the perfect pup for you! Come meet me and let's play! Please note: I might do best in a home with older children who understand how to play gently with a puppy.

Hello world! My name is Mustang, and I'm an energetic lab mix puppy ready to find my forever home! I've got a whole lot of love to give and even more energy to burn. I'm still learning some of the finer points of being a good girl - like remembering that my teeth are for chewing toys, not fingers - but I'm a fast learner and I aim to please! Life is one big adventure for me, and I can't wait to explore the world with my new family. Whether it's chasing squirrels in the park, playing fetch in the backyard, or snuggling up on the couch after a long day, I'm always up for some fun. I'm a big fan of toys (the squeaky ones are my favorite!), belly rubs, and making new friends. Since I'm still just a puppy, I need a family who will be patient with me as I learn and grow. I need lots of exercise and playtime to keep my tail wagging, so get ready for some long walks and exciting adventures! I'm also eager to start puppy school so I can learn all the good boy manners. With a little love and guidance, I know I can be the best dog I can be. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, and energetic companion to add to your family, I might be the perfect pup for you! Come meet me and let's see if we're a match! P.S. I might do best in a home with older children who understand how to play gently with a puppy like me.
