"ANGEL" funny MinPin

Hello all, I am Angel. I was named after the stellar character on Dexter. I hope to live up to his solid and loyal personality. Like most Min Pin's strangers can be troubling and adding smaller humans only pushes us over the deep end. So no children under 10 years in my new home please.

I also suggest reading up on our breed traits just to make sure I am right for you. I want you to be a true forever home! I am around years old and weigh about 9.9 lbs. Here's my MCAS weblink

"MUFFIN" cute and stogey

ADOPTED!

Hello my name is Muffin and I am so pleased to meet you. My sister and I have found ourselves in a predicament, without a home and a parent. We are most comfortable with women and do not have a lot of experience with children so the shelter staff think it is best that only families with children 10 years and older look at us. I think this is a good idea since we can be very protective of our family.

I was born on Saturday, June 21, 2003 and am 10 years, 9 months old and weigh about 19 lbs. Won't you ask about me today? Here's my MCAS weblink

"WAGNER" long legged, sweet boy - delicate Chi mix

ADOPTED!
....who knows what Wagner's breed mix is, but he is a cutie!

Hello, the shelter staff named me Wagner for my good looks and a bit of tongue and cheek thrown in. As you can see from my photo I am a delicate boy weighing in at 7.5 lbs.

I get a little worried about new things in my life but the good news ... I rally quickly. Keep me well socialized and I will be a well rounded boy in no time. I am around 5 years old.  Here's my MCAS weblink

"CODY" awesome Doberman boy!!

ADOPTED!

Hello the shelter named me Cody, another Dexter reference. Yes I am smart and handsome like Cody but I am not a youngster at around 6 years old. I have a lot of energy and am quite a lovable boy.

I weigh around 83 lbs but since I am on the skinny side I will weigh more when I gain my healthy weight back. Speaking of grub I am very food motivated so this will be a good tool for me learning to fit into my new home. Lets get this relationship started! Ask about me today. Here's my MCAS weblink

"NADER" a really nice guy! young Pitbull

ADOPTED!

I am one of a kind. A real 'broke the mold' kind of guy! I love meetin and greetin people of all ages but watch out for my hard wagging tail! I will clear your coffee tables for sure with my expression of happiness. I have some good manners but will sneak up onto your lap to give you a big sloppy kiss. My new home must love to cuddle and snuggle and get down right silly and affectionate with their pooches.

I am a well mannered boy but still young at 2 years and weighing in at 69 lbs so I need some schooling. The shelter will require that we take classes together as part of my adoption. Reward based only please! I am a really nice boy!!  Here's my MCAS weblink

"RILEY" goof & cute, darling youngster

ADOPTED!

Well hello, the shelter has named me Riley. I am hoping the old expression "the Life of Riley" will pay off for me!
I am a little unsure of myself in this setting so the staff is asking for us to go to classes together to help build more confidence for me. For the same reason they are also asking only families with children 10 years and older for my new family.

Once I learn all my new skills and have more life experiences I will be the best boy in town!
The shelter is not really sure what my breeds are so they are calling me an American Shelter Dog, I am approximately 2 years old and weigh in at 33. lbs. Here's my MCAS weblink

MCAS Cats for Adoption!

All the Multnomah County Animal Shelter Cats and Dogs on "Adoption" are spay/neutered, microchipped, licensed, and vaccinated, and more before they go to their new homes.

PLEASE  spay/neuter and license/microchip your pets, so that more of the lovely cats and dogs that come into open-intake shelters like MCAS (or any shelter) as "Lost/Found animals" can find their way back  to their homes again.

"AUGGIE" adorable young Chi mix

Hi there. I am just a little guy looking for a place to lay my head. I am a little confused what I am doing in a shelter but I hear that my new family is just around the corner. I am a quiet and reserved guy here but I bet you that a little time in a home setting and I will be a rip roarin and happy little guy!

I am only a little over 1 year of age and will be full of beans once I get comfortable. The shelter will require that we sign up for classes as part of my adoption. I only weigh 10lbs, ask about me today! Here's my MCAS weblink

"FRANK" a sensible Pomeranian

ADOPTED!

Hello, so nice to meet you. The shelter staff named me Frank for my solemn personality. They suspect I will become more animated the more time I am here or better yet when I find my forever home with you.

They are asking only families with children 10 years and older ask about me which Frankly, yes a little joke … is a good idea.
I am a Pomeranian mix, around 8 years old and weigh about 13 lbs. I am eager to meet you. Here's my MCAS weblink

"FERRIS" happy young Lab

You know you are looking for a handsome man like me! I am everything that people love about labs. I am active, love to play fetch, have some basic training, and I am an all around social guy. I have been taking treats a little too hard here in the shelter but you can gently teach me to slow down. If you give me a ball, I am a happy camper!

I am just barely 2 years of age and I weigh 58lbs. I will require a home that will keep me exercised daily and will follow through with reward based training classes that are required as part of my adoption. Ask about me today! Here's my MCAS weblink

"BARB" good hearted low rider Pitbull

ADOPTED!!!

Hi the shelter named me Barb and I am so pleased to meet you. As you can see I am a handsome girl working on getting into even better shape thanks to the shelter. A good diet and some soothing bathes won't hurt either. The shelter does not know much about me but it's obvious I am a charmer!

Won't we have fun getting to now each other. Ask about me today. I am a chocolate and white female American Pitbull mix, around years old and weigh about 60.2 lbs. Here's my MCAS weblink

"DIXIE" sensitive sweetie

ADOPTED!

I am just about the sweetest and most sensitive dog here. I will melt your heart when I lean against you for petting and smile at you with my pretty eye lined eyes. I am a very nice girl who was lost for many weeks, alone and afraid. I am looking for a home who will pay special attention to making sure I don't slip out an open house or car door and that my yard is securely fenced for supervised outdoor time.

The shelter will require that we take classes together as part of my adoption. I am a lovely lady who will need slow introduction to gentle dogs, I have been scared of the dogs I have met here, but a quiet and polite canine may be just the kind of friend I need. I am just barely 2 years of age and I weigh an athletic 44lbs. Ask about me today! Here's my MCAS weblink
