"A special post for our girl Pop! 

 

"Pop is our longest resident and we just can’t figure out how this sweet girl is still waiting for her person!

 

She is a young, energetic Lab mix with a BIG heart. She absolutely adores people, loves other dogs, and has so much joy to give. We can’t help but imagine how happy she would be with a family, a home, and a life full of adventures to call her own.

She deserves a cozy place to land, people to love, and the chance to enjoy all the things that make life wonderful for a young dog. Instead, she's been waiting since April for someone to see her potential and give her a chance.

 Now, Pop is still young, and she comes with a few things we're working through. Stuffed toys don't stand much of a chance around her. and when she gets excited, she can be mouthy or try to grab the leash. And although she has made SO much progress in these things, she's still maturing and learning, and she'll need a family willing to offer patience, consistency, and guidance as she grows.

And honestly, those things are only one part of Pop's story. They don't change her sweet nature, her love for people, or the wonderful companion she has the potential to become. She's a young dog figuring things out and she deserves the opportunity to keep learning in a home with people who are invested in her success.

 

We know Pop won't be the right fit for everyone, but the right family could find an incredible companion in her. An active, fun-loving girl who will bring plenty of personality, affection, and laughter along for the ride. And maybe make a wonderful dog-companion to a home who already has a dog or two!
