"BRAILLE" *Pre-select* female *MATURE*american HUSKY "MCAS"

UPDATE 1/5/26  PRE-SELECTED or on hold

MCAS needs to spay/neuter all dogs before adoption, especially the females and purebred dogs! Management is failing the dogs and the community. They have had years to resolve this issue and are creating a larger problem for homeless pets. .....WHAT are they thinking?? Why are they allowed to continue failing like this??...You can't help but worry, and wonder - will these adopted dogs be used by people for breeding?or have"unintended offspring" to contribute to more poor homeless dogs?...

1/3/26 "I'm available for a pre-select adoption but I can't go home yet. Please come to the shelter to apply! Learn more about Pre-select animals." NOTE- it is important to check at the local animal shelters if you lose your pet as the stray hold time is only 3-6 days depending on if they have any id . Often the dog is listed as pre-select the same day it comes in as a stray

BRAILLE #380266 listed as American Husky, female, 8 yrs 56 lbs

Braille | 8-Year-Old Female Husky Braille is a mature, 8-year-old female Husky with a calm and dignified presence. As a senior dog, she has moved past the high-energy antics of puppyhood and settled into a more predictable, steady lifestyle. She represents the classic traits of her breed-independence, intelligence, and a quiet confidence. Personality & Temperament Braille maintains a balanced energy level. While she still enjoys her daily walks and the opportunity to explore the outdoors, she is equally content spending her afternoons resting in a cool spot. Social Style: She is polite and observant. She does not demand constant attention but appreciates consistent companionship and a routine she can rely on. Adaptability: At eight years old, Braille is well-adjusted. She understands house manners and has a focused, mellowed-out demeanor compared to younger Huskies. Communication: Typical of her breed, she may occasionally "talk," but her vocalizations are generally purposeful rather than excessive. Summary Braille is a seasoned companion looking for a home that appreciates the Husky breed's independent nature. She is best suited for an environment that offers a clear routine and a peaceful atmosphere where she can enjoy her senior years.
