Meet Achilles 
He’s sweet, He’s playful. He’s full of potential. But right now—he’s also scared.
He’s sweet, He’s playful. He’s full of potential. But right now—he’s also scared.This beautiful boy is fearful of humans and needs a patient, experienced foster who can give him the calm, consistent environment he needs to feel safe. Someone who understands that trust takes time—but is willing to walk that journey with him.
Despite his fear, he wants to connect. He’s shown joy, curiosity, and affection. With the right person, we truly believe he’ll blossom into the loving, loyal companion he’s meant to be. He’s smart and eager to learn when given the chance. His current care taker says that he is pure love and just need time to build his confidence.
What he needs:
• A quiet, stable home
• An experienced dog handler or someone comfortable working with fearful dogs
• A secure yard or safe space to decompress
• Lots of patience, gentleness, and love
*No cats, until we learn more about him
*Gets along with other dogs but a calmer dog might be best. Has been reported to resource guard food and toys
He doesn’t need perfection—he just needs someone to see the dog he can be, not just the fear he’s carrying now.
