Hi there, I'm Hank! I'm an active and playful 5 year old male Pit Bull who also loves cuddles with my person. I've been a little bit nervous here at the shelter, but with some patience and lots of treats, my friends here at the shelter have gotten me to come out of my shell. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on, I would do best in a household with older kids for this reason. At least until I can have a chance to work on my manners. My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. My friends at the shelter have noticed that I seem to have a high prey drive when on walks, so I probably would be best in a home with no cats or small animals. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am!
