Hey there!! My name is Dash and I am a handsome 1 year old American Shelter Dog looking for my furever home! As you can see my ears are pretty epic and wonderful! I was previously adopted but my adopter was no longer able to care for me. However I am still a happy guy with a playful attitude and they had lots of great things to say about me! I am still learning manners so my ideal family would be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I still have a lot of puppy energy and LOVE to play! I am fairly easy to walk with a harness, though sometimes I jump and grab the leash to play tug. Carrying an additional rope toy on walks would probably be helpful to redirect me. I have a beautiful "sit" which can also be used to distract me from grabbing the leash. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! If you have the energy and patience to keep up with me then come say HI and check me out!! :)
