PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED, ASAP:

"Simba" is an 11 pound male Chihuahua, who is said to be 13 years old. He is not-yet-neutered.
after a few days there he's WAY more relaxed thankfully but really needs an Old Dog Haven home so he can get going on important medical issues. He has a good-sized heart murmur so should see a cardiologist before neutering and a major dental. His bloodwork was OK, and the flea-allergy dermatitis is resolving.
At the shelter he met a tester dog happily. He was interested in her but quickly accepted her correction; he is confident but very, very easy to handle by everyone, including the vets. We can't say for sure that he's housebroken (in the kennel ) but he doesn't smell like urine so it seems he is waiting to be taken out a few times a day.
We hope to get him OUT of the shelter and into an Old Dog Haven home ASAP so he can get ready for his neuter/dental and a much healthier life ahead.
