"TRIXIE" JACK RUSSELL TERRIEr MIX "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services" (open Tues - Friday 1-4) Clackamas, OR

The dogs at Clackamas Co shelter have a harder time getting adopted since recent budget cuts closed the shelter on Saturdays.

The longer stays are tough on dogs!  Please consider taking some time on a Tues thru Friday 1:00-4:00 pm to visit with one of the adoptable dogs!

"TRIXIE" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"

Shelter ID: 106361 Breed: (Parson) Russell Terrier/Mix, spayed female

8 yrs 28 lbs adoption fee $205

Description: Hello, my name is “Trixie”. I weigh about 28 pounds and am around 8 years old. I'm a gentle, sweet girl who is looking for a calm and loving home. I enjoy the quieter side of life and would love to spend my days relaxing with my people, going on short walks, and finding cozy spots to nap. I may be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, I warm up and show my soft, loving personality.

-Trixie would do well in a home with children of any age, as long as they are respectful and gentle with her. We would require all children to be brought in to meet her prior to taking her home.
-
We don't know how Trixie will be with cats or small animals, so be sure to discuss proper introductions with your adoption counselor if you have small animals living in the house.
-
Trixie is a quiet and kind companion who enjoys gentle attention and being near her people.
Trixie has been calm around other dogs in the shelter. If you have another dog in your home, we will need to set up a meet and greet to ensure a good fit
