Patty: A Shy Pointer with a Big Heart Meet Patty, a handsome, one-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer whose rugged, wiry coat and intelligent eyes hint at his breed's adventurous spirit, even if he hasn't quite found his own yet. Patty is still a young soul in a big world, and he carries a gentle shyness that makes him truly endearing. Patty is a sensitive boy who is easily startled by sudden movements, loud noises, and new environments. He approaches life with a bit of caution, often preferring to observe from a safe distance before slowly and quietly inching closer to investigate. Once he feels safe and comfortable, however, his sweet, playful Pointer personality begins to emerge. A Home That Understands Because of his sensitive nature, Patty will thrive in a home that understands and respects his need for space and patience.

He needs a quiet, structured environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. Patty is looking for a family with children ages 8 and up. Older, calm, and respectful kids who understand how to be "dog aware" and give him room to breathe will be the best fit. A loud, rambunctious household would be overwhelming for this gentle guy. With the right family, Patty promises to be a loyal, affectionate companion who will gladly melt into a long snuggle once the day's anxieties are behind him. He just needs a patient person to show him that the world, and his new home, is a safe and wonderful place.
