What my friends at OHS say about me:
- I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.
- To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
- I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.
- I am deaf which just means I'll need a little extra patience and care when we're learning new things together and while getting settled into my new home and family.
- I love a good snack, can you blame me?! Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks.
- Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my people, food, toys and/or bedding from other animals.
- High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
- I am silly, young boy full of personality - sweet, goofy, and oh-so-ready to be your best buddy. Whether it's snuggling up for a cozy cuddle or bouncing around with my favorite toys, I've got tons of love to give.
The type of home I'm looking for:
- I need a home without cats or other small animals.
- I need to go to a home without small children. I may accidently knock them over in my excitement or try to steal their toys to play with.
- I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. My special needs require experienced owners or all eyes on me.
- I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
