Hello there! I'm Odie, and I'm a sweet and silly boy that is sure to make you smile!

I'm very active and playful! A romp around the yard sounds like a blast to me.
I'd love to get up and adventure with you too! I will need lots of exercise to keep me healthy and give me positive outlets for my energy.

Toys and treats are a great way to teach me- I love to learn!
Plus doing some training together would be a great way for us to bond and for me to become the best dog I can be!

I can get a little too excited about toys sometimes and so I have a history of resource guarding toys from people.

After I'm done adventuring for the day, I love to spend time with my humans. I may even try to be a lap dog - some people might say I'm too big for that, but what can I say? I just can't get enough of my favorite people!

I've had a lot of fun playing with other dogs here at the shelter, but I like to play rough and rowdy so if you have a dog already make sure your pup my size or larger and is up for that! I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted. Also, I will need a home without small dogs, cats or other small animals.

I am a big guy with lots of energy so I am not really an apartment dweller. I must go to a home with a fenced in yard.

I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here. That means we'll have plenty of time to spend together before you officially adopt me!

I'd love to get to know you - maybe you'd like to get to know me too? Then come stop by and say hi!
