ZEKE: PERMANENT PERMANENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED: for "OLD DOG HAVEN"(note: all medical expenses paid by rescue)
(fosters needed -located in W. Washington state or Portland, OR only)
Another senior has been added to our wait list. We are looking for a home to send Zeke to in either W. Washington state or Portland, OR. This would be a forever foster (permanent) placement, meaning he would be an Old Dog Haven dog. Zeke is not up for adoption. Old Dog Haven pays all of his vet bills for life-thanks to donations.
It is difficult for us to find homes for "big" dogs, much harder than the smaller ones! We would appreciate your shares today for Zeke

"Zeke" is a big guy, lab mix, who weighs 112 pounds. He is a neutered
male. This is a wonderfully gentle, sweet, well-trained and well
behaved big fellow with pretty severe arthritis that is painful and
limiting his mobility. He has not yet been started on meds/supplements so we are hopeful that once in our care we can make his life much more comfortable for a while.
Zeke will need a home without stairs of course, and someone able
to manage his size (we are well supplied with a great leave-on harness to help!). His labwork was pretty good so organs are functioning fine at this point.
He is reported to be excellent with dogs of all sizes, cats, humans of all sizes, and on a leash. The vet who saw him recently raves over what a lovely, gentle
dog he is, very tolerant of everything they did -now he needs an Old Dog Haven home for the rest of his life.
