"C.J." AVAILABLE for adoption SENIOR DOG RESCUE of OREGON
Hi, I’m CJ — a 12-year-old mini-Australian Shepherd with a fluffy
brown-and-white coat, one eye, zero teeth, and a whole lot of love to
give.
I’m a professional lap dog and my favorite hobbies include following my
person everywhere, asking for belly rubs, snuggling on the couch,
supervising neighborhood activity from the window, and making sure those
suspicious Amazon drivers know I’m watching them.
I’m housetrained, food motivated, and love going on walks and
adventures. I can climb stairs, hop in and out of the car on my own, and
I’m always excited when my people want to go somewhere. Even at 12
years old, I still have a playful little spark in me. I absolutely
adore people and really just want someone who will love me as much as
I’ll love them back. If you sit down, there’s a very good chance I’ll
end up in your lap.
I would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but I just LOVE cats.
Small kids make me a little nervous, so I’d probably do best in a calmer
home where I can relax and soak up attention.
Oh, and about my eye — yes, I recently had one removed due to a painful
injury. Honestly, I think it gives me character. I’m still happy,
loving, and very ready for my next chapter.
If you’re looking for a sweet little shadow who wants belly rubs,
companionship, and a cozy place to snuggle, I might just be your guy.
