"THORN" *FOSTER home** POMERANIAN *NEEDS love and TLC****"MCAS" - came in with Thicket

came in with THICKET - they were in very poor condition when found

UPDATE 1/5/26 ADOPTED or on hold

MCAS needs to spay/neuter all dogs before adoption, especially the females and purebred dogs! Management is failing the dogs and the community, and they have had 6 YEARS to resolve this issue!

They recently adopted out *together* an intact male/female pair of purebred small dogs!!

By failing their legal obligation to spay/neuter all adoption animals management has created a MUCH LARGER problem for homeless pets. .....WHAT are they thinking??? They could easily have created a simple, effective offsite medical  facility years ago that would only focus on the spay/neutering of the animals.

..but...it's not the dogs' fault, and the dogs need good adopters!

THORN #379213 listed as Pomeranian , female, 3 yrs {note, in write up says 6 yrs} 9.8 lbs

*Foster home

Thorn is a delicate 6-year-old Pomeranian {Note: stats list as 3 yr old}with a heart of gold and a world-weary spirit. While her breed is often known for being bold and outgoing, Thorn is a much more sensitive soul. She finds the world a bit overwhelming at times and tends to be fearful of loud noises, fast movements, or unfamiliar faces. Despite her timid nature, Thorn is remarkably sweet. She isn't the type to demand attention, but she deeply craves it once she knows she is safe. She expresses her affection in quiet, meaningful ways-a soft lean against your leg or a gentle wag of her tail when she hears a kind voice. She is looking for a patient, low-energy home that can offer her the stability she needs to come out of her shell. In a peaceful environment where she isn't rushed, Thorn's fearful exterior melts away, revealing a loyal and tender companion who just wants to feel secure.
