"Listed as" Pointer, German Shorthaired/Mix Meet Babe, a three month old German Shorthair Pointer mix weighing around 14 pounds.
Babe
is a sweet and spunky pup with a heart full of love and ears that flop
with every bounce! This friendly and outgoing girl is always ready to
make new friends-whether you're two-legged or four. She's especially
eager to please when treats are involved (and she knows how to work
those puppy eyes for a snack)!
With her docked tail and energetic
personality, Babe is always up for a walk, a game, or a cuddle session
after a day of fun. She's a smart cookie and would thrive with positive
reinforcement training-especially when there's a treat reward at the
end.
We believe Babe is a German Shorthaired Pointer mix, so we
recommend potential adopters do a bit of breed research. Pointers are
active, intelligent dogs that do best with families who can match their
energy and curiosity.
If you're looking for a loyal, happy
companion who will keep you smiling, Babe is your girl! Please remember
that Babe is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They
need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew
toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing
from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog
they can be.
This pet is available for adoption on 8/12/2025 at
11:55 AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize
this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.
