Stumptown Strays" is a wonderful local Rescue that helps shelter dogs in need of medical assistance.

"MOLLY " is Available for adoption with STUMPTOWN STRAYS

MOLLY

spayed female, 3 yrs 7 lbs  CHIweenie

adoption fee $400  ok in home with kids, dogs.... cats unknown

adoption application

Personality: Affectionate, Curious, Friendly, Gentle, Loves

Molly, our 3 year old 7 pound chiweenie, was found stray. The shelter thought she was pregnant, so they asked us for help. Molly is a prime example of why you never ask a lady when she's due. Molly was not pregnant, just perhaps a little gasey. No matter; we're very happy to help this healthy (and now spayed) girl find a home.

A bit of a wallflower, it can take a moment for Molly to warm up. Once she does, all she wants to do is snuggle. Molly loves people, kids included, and is happy to crawl into any available lap. A fairly easy keeper, Molly is nearly perfectly potty trained (an occasional accident), is crate trained and not destructive. Molly loves walks and we think she would make a great adventure buddy.

Although we have not seen Molly with cats, we suspect (based on her reserved personality) that she would do just fine. When introduced to new dogs, Molly initially tries to avoid them. Given a bit of time, she seems fine to hang out. However, we haven't seen Molly want to play with another dog. We bet there is a dog out there who could change her mind.

Molly's ideal adopter is home often or wants to take Molly with them. She gets a bit sad when left all alone. Molly hasn't figured out toys yet, but she loves to wrestle and play-fight with her people.

Molly is heartworm negative and current on her flea and heartworm preventatives.

Think you have room for Molly?
