Recommend No Cats in Home

Hello my name is Badger! I am a staff and volunteer favorite! I'm an adult dog which means I would be up for a walk or to hang out on the couch and watch a movie. The people that have gotten to know me think I am handsome, smart and a sweet boy. I love my toys very much, and have shown no resource guarding behaviors with them. My previous home says I will need a home with no cats, so if you are cat-free maybe we can get to know each other more. I know sit, down, roll over, shake and I'm learning leave it and to sit for a treat versus try to jump up and get it. I put on my harness for walks like a champ and I am learning to watch dogs at a distance and check in with my handler for a treat. Exercise is important and I enjoy walks, but working my mind with food puzzles, toys and learning new skills with rewards-based training is just as important. Rewards based training will be a great way for me and my new home to build a relationship of trust and cooperation. Come meet me at the shelter!

Do I look like a Walrus?
