Calling all lovers of senior dogs who may need a little extra care than the average pup. My name is Agnus, a sweet senior small breed dog looking for a home to live out my golden years. My history is unknown before coming to the shelter but I am not too worried about my past, only looking to my future...no not looking into the future although my eyes could make you think otherwise. I am mostly blind because of the cataracts in my eyes, but I seem to navigate well once I know the environment. I have been hanging out in a staff members office so I know my way around potty-pads and love snoozing all day in my crate...I may snore just a tiny bit but eventually it becomes a soothing sound kinda like the ocean! I also love food and my nose guides the way to the bowl, although I prefer soft food I dont mind some softened kibble mixed in, I am in need of a dental cleaning but it doesn't slow down my appetite one bit. To be honest I could probably stand to lose a couple pounds! Because I am a senior lady the shelter is requesting my adopter have an established veterinarian to follow up on any care I may need going forward. An adult only home or older kids would be preferred since I am an older gal. Do you have room in your home for a couch potato looking to snooze all day and snuggle on the sofa then look no further!
