Hi I'm Wasabi! I arrived at the shelter as a stray and I was very scared and overwhelmed. However, I've been with my foster family for just under a week now and I am blossoming. I am such a sweet girl and I thrive on praise. I'll do best in a patient household that lets me go at my own pace and gives me lots of encouragement. Right now I'm working on building my confidence. My foster mom doesn't think I had much training early in life so we're working on the basics like sit, getting comfortable on a leash, and pottying on pee pads. I am a very smart girl and eager to please so with patience and love my foster mom is confident I'll pick up the skills to be a successful pet in no time. I'm still very much a puppy and I love lots of fun toys. I have the most adorable hop when I'm excited and happy. My foster mom says my nickname could be Tigger! I also love my crate. It's my safe space. Finally, I'd love to go to a home with another friendly, playful dog. I haven't been around cats. I think I might chase them but can probably be trained to leave them alone. And my history with kids is unknown but my foster mom thinks I'd likely do just fine with gentle respectful children. I am a love bug at heart and I can't wait to find my new family.
