Happy Adoption Update July 2018
ADOPTED!
"Maxwell and I are
approaching 6 months together and I couldn't be happier. He is SUCH a
good boy. He adapted so well and so quickly to his new home. It is a bit
of a challenge to find toys for this aggressive chewer, but he loves to
go shopping with me to find new ones. In addition to playing with toys,
he loves treats (he may have gained a few pounds since he was adopted),
going for long daily walks (which take even longer due to all the
sniffing that must be done), and taking naps (on his choice of couches).
I am thankful for the circumstances that brought us together and
thankful for MCAS for taking good care of him until he could come to his
forever home." Anne Y.

I am Maxwell, a fun and energetic guy. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! My new home will be required to have any kids over 12 years old. I can be dog selective, so I will need to have any potential canine friends in my home meet me at the shelter before going home. Please come meet me today! 64lbs, 4 yrs old
these photos don't give a good relative size - Max is 64 lbs -but quite short
