My name is Shatzi. I am a sweet, calm little Dachshund. It may take me a minute to trust you, but once I do I am very loving and friendly. I like to sit on laps on occasion, but prefer to stay on the ground than being picked up and carried around. I am an older girl who's body is a little older, and thus I can be a little sensitive to some handling. It is best that I go to a home with kids over 6 years old. I am quite lovely, so please come down to the shelter to see me! I am 12 years old and weigh 19 pounds.
