also  Dozer (ADOPTED!) another fabulous blue Weimaraner who needs a good home!   for adoption at www.oregonweimrescue.org

Here's some info on SAM:  Big and blue, bright and beautiful!  Samson is quite the handsome 9 year old boy.  Sam is a tall, healthy, and fit 90 pound stunner.  He is as sweet and friendly as they come, crate trained, and ready to spend time showing you what a great family member he can be.
Sam is a very loyal and intelligent Weimaraner.  He is very loving and affectionate.  Samson is great with kids and other dogs.  He is even friendly with the backyard chickens.   His family has loved him dearly but challenges in life have made it apparent that Sam isn’t getting the human time he deserves.  Sam is very friendly with people, from strangers to babies.  He has a gentle mouth and takes treats respectfully.

We’re looking for a home where Sam will not be left alone for 8 hrs a day/5 days a week.  He needs a family who wants to take him on a few walks a day so he can explore, sniff, and run a bit.  He would love to snuggle with you at the end of the day.  Sam currently accompanies his foster parents on errands.  He is a good boy in the hardware store, pet store, at the ATM machine.  You name it, he is happy to be your buddy and tag along.  Be prepared for the compliments that come when walking with such a handsome Weimaraner.
If you are interested in making Sam a member of your family, please fill out an adoption application on our How To Adopt page.   If you already have an application on file, please send us an email to learn more about Samson.
Samson is located in the Portland area.
