"SNOW" GREAT PUPPY!! Aussie mix plus (husky, malamute, samoyed, cattledog, mini aussie, border collie, boxer, pitbull, minpin, doxie)

Amazing 5 month old Puppy! CUTER in person - and has soft smooth fur, nice to pet.  Smart and learns quickly, fun, sensitive, LOVABLE, affectionate, self-entertaining,  listens well, mischievous, social,  Would love a compatible (NOT a strong drive dog) to be a companion. The adult dogs in the foster home really liked her, in spite of all her puppy ways!  She would love a home that can provide a calm space so she doesn't get hyper,  but also is tolerant of puppy-ways (she still gets into things and needs to be monitored )and gives you lots of love and continued training- she is smart and active, LOVES all her toys, and needs attention and lots of daily time together. She a mix of about 17 different dogs - but YES, Aussie and other herding dogs are a big part of it

SNOW was in a foster home and is now available for adoption at OREGON HUMANE SOCIETY

Beans is a stunning chocolate lab, and because of his gorgeous exterior you'd think him to be a confident boy...but he's actually very shy! He has a lot to learn in terms of confidence - he's still very nervous about people and needs lots of TLC, patience, and kind words to go to new places. He is a sweetheart and has allowed all handling here at the shelter and would do wonderfully in a calm, quiet home with low traffic (at least to start) to help him acclimate easier. He'd love a new family that is ready to work with him on becoming the best dog he can be - he just needs a little help from YOU! 💖🐾

She's intelligent and eager to please, quick to learn, and loves making her humans happy. Sierra also enjoys playing with her toys and cuddling up on the couch. "GOLDILOCKS" IN FOSTER - apricot Poodle- has stranger danger

"GOLDILOCKS"  is Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!
MCAS hours/ Location

Date found: Friday, June 21, 2024
Location found: burside/division
How did we get this animal: Officer Pickup
Adoption cost: $160
License fee: $27.00 (Multnomah County residents only)

Animal ID: 299673  female 2 yr 2 mths 17 lbs

https://www.multcopets.org/adoptable/29967

in foster

Goldilocks is a real love bug. She likes to snuggle and give hugs. She will be watching out the window for your return home and though you might find she's stolen your shoe while you were gone, you won't find any teeth marks. Goldilocks is a sensitive dog who would appreciate a small to medium size dog friend who can teach her how to play with toys and how to be a dog. Goldilocks has lived with a 16yr old Bichon (with medical issues) at her foster's house and has been very respectful of giving space. Sharing both water and food dishes with the Foster's dog. The foster has a pet door and Goldilocks understood right away how to use it. She hasn't had any accidents in the house since her minor tummy issues cleared up, appreciates a good nap, sleeps well at night on her Foster's bed and sometimes steals a pillow for her own use. Goldilocks is looking for a loving home with older children who don't play rough, preferably with an owner home all-day while getting acclimated and trained a bit. Most likely, she'd be okay with cats. Goldilocks hasn't shown signs of barking much, except for a single bark alert when seeing a stranger come close. She walks well on leash, but will need slow introductions to any strangers. Not food aggressive and not touch sensitive. Because of her stranger danger fear, she'll need to be slowly trained that strangers (human & animal) aren't all bad. When Goldilocks was found she was covered in painful hair mats (ears, legs, back end). When you touched the mats, Goldilocks would gently pull your hand away with her mouth because they were so painful. So, please be aware of the added cost of owning a dog breed that requires professional grooming every two to three months. Whoever adopts Goldilocks is getting a very trainable dog that is desperate to please her owner. Though sensitive to noise and new situations, consistent training can help her further relax and become your best friend.
