Hey there! I'm Angel, a sweet, active and strong-willed young pup
looking for my forever home. I know what you must be thinking, is that
much cuteness even possible?
I am currently living in a foster home and working on my confidence as I
need extra help adjusting to new places and people. I know I could be
my very best self in a predictable home with an active family that has
patience for an overachiever like me. I'd like to live in a house
outside of the city or in a quiet neighborhood - I love hiking, swimming
in the river and walkin' in the park, but I am very uncomfortable
around busy street traffic and loud noises. I also like to talk about my
feelings so apartment life probably isn't for me.
I can be jumpy and mouthy at times, but I am easily redirected and am
learning that showing my calm side will get me the greatest rewards.
While I can be slow to warm up to people, I really like kids and I LOVE
to play, especially with other dogs! Because of my rather exuberant
playstyle, I would do best with sturdy kids 8 years old and up and other
animals that don't mind my zoomy ways.
I've been making great progress with my basic commands and crate
training but I still have some work to do. Let's face it, I am a bit of
a project pup but I am sweet, smart, snuggly and ready to learn. I am
looking for a family that doesn't take life too seriously and will give
me an outlet for my puppy energy while continuing to build my confidence
through reward based training. In exchange, I will give you unwavering
loyalty and entertain you with my silly antics!
