I'm not sure if this guy never had much loving attention, or maybe he did and yet holds back from soliciting attention for petting. He has an outdoor coat - somewhat dirty, not smelly but he hasn't been bathed or brushed for awhile. "Sand CASTLE" ( "Sandy" is a sensitive guy, not hyper, but nervous in the shelter kennels. I think that he would be a great dog for a low-key stable home and a committed owner. Or maybe you could foster him?
