My name is Freckles and I am a 3 year old American Pit Bull boy :) I can
be a bit shy around loud noises, but I am so happy to be with you when I
warm up to you. If you are looking for a fun, playful dog to add some
joy to your life and help make you laugh, then look no further. As I
came in as a stray, I am missing some hair and am pretty skinny, but
that can all be fixed with the right person and a lot of love!

About freckles:
He is SUCH a sweet, cuddly dog who would do so well with someone who is
comfortable with basic training skills. He loves walking, laying in the
sun, treats, all people, and toys he can chew on. He does well in a
crate, hasn't barked a single time, and learned how to sit right away.
He is excited to meet other dogs but doesn't seem to know how to play
with them. He is big and strong so he probably wouldn't be great around
small dogs, little children, or anyone very unsteady on their feet, as
he might just run them over. He's not at all aggressive, just excited
and unaware of his size. I would estimate he is 90% house-trained. He
is VERY food motivated.
