This little guy SKYE is very smart and lively! He'll happily come up onto your lap, but he is not a "lap dog" (well maybe he will be after he's had a full entertaining and active day) Skye knows sit, down, has great eye contact and is ready to learn much more. In fact, he'll be bored if his brain isn't stimulated daily.
If you like smart little (30lbs) active dogs, who are GOOD With Cats, Skye could be a fascinating new dog in your life
I think he might have some Jack Russell Terrier in him.
