My foster parents say that nobody is a stranger to me and am great with older kids! If you would like to know more about me, please email foster@multco.us.

Hi, I'm Kai! I'm a very handsome boy. I've been at the shelter for a while, and I have adjusted really well, but now I am ready to adjust to my forever home. I LOVE food. I would love to eat snacks with you and watch the neighbor dogs walk by. I love to explore outside, sniff around, and chase the occasional ball. I am so excited for the next adventure that I will sometimes be jumpy and mouthy when I am overexcited, but if you have a treat in your hand, I'm easily redirected. I really want to be a well behaved boy I just need some positive reinforcement training so I know what to do! I may look like a big dog, but I have a small and endearing squeaky bark that always brings a smile to the face of anyone who meets me because it's so unexpected. I know sit and down, and I try to hold it until a volunteer comes to take me out on a potty walk. Hopefully my new person will be excited to bond with me through more training, which should be easy since I'm pretty smart and I love treats so much. I have started my crate training and want you to know that I'm doing great in a crate! I haven't met other dogs yet [note- Kai is selective about his dog friends] but I don't react to them through my kennel, so I might be dog friendly as long as I have a structured introduction. I am strong and can jump, so I would be best suited for a home without young children. If you want to eat snacks, adventure with me from coast to coast and take afternoon naps in the sun, take me home with you! I have been in foster care now for a week and am doing so good! My foster parents say that nobody is a stranger to me and am great with older kids! If you would like to know more about me, please email foster@multco.us.
