I’m a sensitive little Pitty mix called Tippy. Yeah, I tip the scales. See my heart weighs 60 pounds alone, and is made of solid gold. They have to keep it in a safe deposit box here at the shelter until I find a trustworthy person who can handle the huge amount of love I have to give. I’m a delightful lady, but like to treated with a gentle touch. I am longing for some stability and security so that I can let this heart outta that lock box! I get along great with other dogs, cats and calm, gentle children 10+, but I’m no fan of grabby hands and must be treated with respect. I’m already crate trained, housebroken and ready for a new home! So, tell me, can you handle a heart of gold?

Great dog! Short, (too)Chubby, silly and playful, calm. Gets along with polite dogs and gentle with cats! Tippy does a fun little play bow, and a speak for a treat.

I'm an older gal looking for a home of my own. Don't let my age fool you--I have plenty of spring in my step and love to play in between naps! You might call me an "active senior". I get along well with other polite dogs and am gentle and appropriate with cats! I'm a world champion treat catcher (especially my favorite, HOT DOGS) and will chatter my teeth when I'm excited or getting a scritch in just the right spot. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready to be your best friend!
