At this time, community members aren't able to visit the shelter to browse adoption kennels, and adoptions are limited to the virtual process. Recommend meeting resident dogs at home prior to adoption. My name is Mama and I am a lovely lady looking for my forever home. I am a high energy girl who needs long walks and runs to burn off some energy. I also like to chew things, so having something readily available for me to chew on will be important. This is not to say that I am not a lady of leisure because I very much enjoy sleeping on beds and couches - in fact that may be one of my favorite places to hang out. I will need someone who is patient with me as I can be somewhat barky at passer-byes, but redirects easily. My foster thinks I may have some anxiety, but so far it has not been extreme. I can be a little worried about people I don't know, especially men, but am the biggest lovebug once I'm comfortable. I will need a home that is adult only or with only older children as young ones can scare me. I have done well with the dogs I have met here but would also love to be the apple of your eye and meet them beforehand. I am a sweet sensitive girl who just needs someone to call my own. I love to give kisses and play - in fact, I am learning how to play tug! If you are interested, please fill out my application today!
