Meet Tweedle, a 2year old Cockatiel looking for a new home with her young friend Dee (ID#163978)! While these 2 are a bit stressed here at the shelter they display social behaviors and we think with patience & positive training, they will become a fantastic addition to your home. Ensure a well-balanced diet by including foods like commercially available cockatiel pellets, fresh green vegetables, seeds and unsweetened cereals. Dietary supplements like cuttlebones are useful for ensuring its calcium intake. These 2 are a bonded pair and must be adopted together, please make sure you have an appropriate cage as Cockatiels can live 10+years

Meet Dee, an approximately 8month old Cockatiel looking for a new home with her friend Tweedle (ID#163977)! While these 2 are a bit stressed here at the shelter, they display social behaviors and we think with patience & positive training, they will become a fantastic addition to your home. These 2 are a bonded pair and must be adopted together so please make sure you have an appropriate cage as Cockatiels can live 10+years. Cockatiels are relatively vocal birds, the calls of the male being more varied than that of the female. Cockatiels can be taught to sing specific melodies and speak many words and phrases.
