My name is Poppy. I am a female border collie mix who is 12 years old and weighs 39 pounds. I can be a bit aloof and independent, so it is important that my home be patient with me while I adjust to my new home. I have been stressed here in the shelter environment, but my hope is that with a calm and structured home life, I will be back to my usual personality in no time! I prefer to take it slow when meeting new people, but will eventually lean into pets once it feels right! The shelter is recommending any potential kids in my new home to be over 10 years old.
