"DUKE"awesome big (Pointer?) (Cattle Dog/Lab?)

ADOPTED!!!
Feb 11, 2015

Available for Adoption with Oregon Humane Society
Duke - here's my OHS weblink
my animal id # 91425

(yes, another longterm Ohs dog sharing the MCAS photo blog!)
I do volunteer photos at both shelters and these big guys like Duke need extra help finding good homes!

Duke is a nice guy! He's a big, handsome and smart boy, with very fur. Duke likes squeaker toys, walks, and learning new things.Duke is a strong boy and he needs a devoted owner who will walk him daily on a harness or a gentle leader head collar.

Duke is a sensitive fella who hasn’t quite gotten used to his new environment. He can be nervous in new situations and prefers to take things slow so he can feel more comfortable in what is happening around him. Duke would do best with older children who can respect his boundaries and be patient with him while he settles in. Duke can be protective of his home and person. With patience and lots of treats of course, Duke may just open up and become a great addition to the group. A training consult is included prior to Duke’s adoption.
