I'm looking for a patient and understanding family who can give me the time and space I need to adjust. I would thrive in a calm and predictable home with a consistent routine.  Hi there, I'm Bowie! 💖 I'm a 11-month-old Labrador with a zest for life that's as bright as my smile. I'm a bundle of energy who loves to play fetch, chase squirrels, and explore the world around me. I can be a bit jumpy and mouthy when I'm excited, but I'm learning to channel my energy in more positive ways. Puzzle feeders, Kongs filled with treats, and plenty of playtime with my favorite toys help me settle down and focus! I'm the kind of guy who looooves to keep my people nearby, so I have a hard time letting them leave for the day (because who wants play time to stop??) - I'd thrive in a home that's not a rental since I have a loud voice (and will use it to communicate), and a home that is ready to teach me that time away doesn't mean the play stops - it just means the fun has just begun! Frozen slow feeders and kennel training could do me a world of good! I'm a quick learner and already know how to sit and shake (especially when there are treats involved!). I'm looking for an active family who can keep up with my puppy energy and provide me with the daily mental and physical stimulation I need to thrive. With a little patience, training, and lots of love, I'll be the perfect companion for your next adventure. If you're ready for a fun-loving, food-motivated furry friend who will bring endless joy and laughter to your life (and don't mind a little puppy exuberance), come meet me today!

Adoption cost: $160.00
License fee: $27.00 (Multnomah County residents only)

Animal ID: 320220 neutered male 1 yr 1 mth 82 lbs

in foster

Meet Otto, the charming pup who's ready to fill your home with love and joy! Otto is a wonderful companion who would thrive in a family environment, particularly with older kids aged 10 and above. He has a playful side and can get a bit "mouthy" when he's excited, but he's also delightfully low-key and goes at the pace of your family's activities-though don't plan on any marathon training with him! On walks, Otto is an absolute star. He's excellent on a leash and doesn't pull at all, making outings a breeze. While he's not a fan of confined spaces, he prefers to sleep in the living room with his furry friends (the crate was a bit too stressful for him). Otto is house-trained, with only a couple of accidents in his first few days, and he seems to know when it's time to go outside! Otto is a social butterfly when it comes to his four-legged friends-he's great with dogs, cats, and even chickens! He's incredibly loving and kind, though he does need some guidance with manners (he has been known to snatch treats from counters!). With a little time and patience, he'll learn the ropes. This sweet boy may be shy around strangers and younger children, but his gentle nature shines through as he bonds with those he loves. Food is a fantastic motivator for Otto, especially when bracing for bath time-two patient people can get that job done! Otto has truly made himself at home, and he will be a loyal protector of his pack. He's ready to bring warmth and happiness to a loving family. If you think you could be the perfect match for this sweet soul, don't hesitate to reach out! ❤️
