"MORPHEUS" Medium -size Shepherd type mystery mix "MCAS"

"Morpheus was a shy little guy when he first arrived at the shelter, but today I got to see his endearing personality emerge..
After a walk, we played chase/peek-a-boo around a giant tree - He'd pop his head out from behind the trunk, look at me, then run to the other side and repeat the process.
Then he'd do a couple zoomies around the yard, followed by an enticing “come and get me!” pose, thoroughly enjoying the game.  It was so refreshing to see him let his guard down and actually have fun!
Make no mistake, Morpheus was never truly trying to get away. He’d come right over for pets whenever I called him. He was exceptionally engaged with me - It was as if he was looking at me for direction, just waiting to see what I wanted to do next. He strikes me as a highly trainable dog who just needs someone to invest in him!" volunteer Kelly S

Meet Morpheus, a handsome boy with a mysterious charm. Like his namesake, he might seem a little elusive at first, preferring to observe from a distance. But don't let his initial shyness fool you! Morpheus has a secret code to unlock his heart, and it's written in delicious, tiny treats. Offer him a tasty morsel, and you'll see a wag of his tail, a curious glance, and soon, a gentle nudge for more. With patience and a pocket full of snacks, Morpheus slowly transforms into the sweetest, most loyal companion. He's looking for a calm home where he can blossom at his own pace, surrounded by understanding hearts and, of course, a steady supply of his favorite rewards. Could you be the one to show Morpheus that dreams really do come true?
