no apartments, prefers someone home much of thetime 

Willy is looking for a forever home. He is a dachshund/chihuahua mix. He weighs about 15-17 pounds. Willy is a love bug who loves attention and lots of petting. Anytime you are sitting in a chair, Willy comes right up to join you. He adores being close to his owners. He walks well on a leash, but some times will bark at other dogs (usually larger ones) and other times he ignores them. We take him out on walks twice a day. At night he likes to snuggle on the bed with his family and will sleep all night long until morning. Willy does suffer from separation anxiety and does bark when someone comes to the door. I would recommend he go to someone who does not live in an apartment. Because of his anxiety when left alone, we crate him when we leave him alone and he really does not approve. Usually a few howls, but then settles down till he hears you return. He is a truly sweet dog who only wants to love and be loved. As he has only had one owner in his life (a man) prior to our fostering him, he prefers to have someone around most of the time. He is such a sweet and loving dog and would probably do well with a family that can spend a lot of time with him. He is fully Vetted, Neutered and Microchipped.
