Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!
Adoption information
MCAS hours/ Location

Aurora, female Lab mix, 3 yrs 63 lbs
mcas weblink
194347
My name is Aurora. I am seeking a quiet home that will respect my need for some time to adjust. Once I know you, I will share my wonderful smile. I love to go for walks, just ask me. I know sit and shake and the shelter thinks I might even be house trained. My skin and coat needs some work, but there is a beautiful dog lurking under the surface. If there are kids in my new home, they should be at least 8 years or older due to some fearful behaviors.

Aurora is the sweetest most gentle dog dog.
She totally deserves a home where she gets pampered. She'll be beautiful once her sparse hair fills in - given good care and quality food that a great home can provide.
Please help Aurora find a great home!

The fur around her face and neck is very soft.

Tri-tip, male border collie (perhaps some sheltie?) mix1 yr 5 mths, 29 lbs

My name is Tri-tip. I am more comfortable meeting new people if they are sitting or crouched down to my level. Once I get to know you, I like to snuggle up next you and get pets. I am looking for a quiet home and if there are kids they should be at least 12 years old due to some fear. If you are seeking a loyal friend to keep you company through your life, then I am the dog for you!

Tri-Tip is very afraid of the barking dogs in the kennels. He's on the small side and his hair is reminiscent of a sheltie - but his face looks more like a border collie. He's a loving timid guy.

Hi I'm Cleo, a 6 year old Shelter dog mix. I came into the shelter as an owner surrender, and I am pretty nervous here. It takes me a little to warm up to new people, so I would like my new home to take things slow with me and be more on the quiet, low traffic side. I can be a bit anxious in new situations, and I have also been known to be an escape artist at my old home, and any kids in the home should be 12 and older. Ask to meet me today.

Magpie, female Husky mystery mix  2 yrs 2 mths,  41lbs

I am Magpie, a fun loving and energetic mix breed. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! I need to be the only animal in my new home, and need an adult only home! Ask to meet me today.

Hi, I'm Bruce, an American Shelter Dog mix that came into the shelter in pretty rough shape. I was very skinny when I came in, and have been working on gaining weight and am now at a point that I can be up for adoption! Because I was so underweight, I am pretty interested in food when its around. I take treats VERY hard, and eat my food very quickly. Because of this, I need to go home with kids 12 and older. I am a very sweet boy, love to cuddle, LOVE toys, and walk great on leash! If I sound like a good fit for your home, ask to meet me today!
===========

Very nice boy! Quite the mystery mix. Brindle in color, but Bruce doesn't really look Boxer or Pitmix (or great dane, plott hound, akita, bulldog, whippet or greyhound...etc)  Kind of "Shepherdy" looking, but doesn't seem like a German Shepherd. Whatever he is, it's a great mix!
