Meet Bunilla Ice! This handsome, young rabbit is looking for a new home. Bunilla spent some time in a foster home where they said that he was a sweet and easy house guest. His previous adopter said Bunilla was very nice, liked to chew on things, uses his litterbox but had to return him because of allergies. Bunilla would likely make a fabulous first time bunny for a family.

Hi, my name is Blair, I am a 2 year old Pit Bull low rider lady that is looking for my forever home! I came into the shelter as a stray, so the shelter doesn't know my past, but I am a sweet girl that walks well on leash and just wants to be right in your lap cuddling you all the time! I am a little fearful, especially with loud noises, so my new family will be patient with me as I adjust to my new home! Because I am fearful, any kids in the home should be over the age of 12. Do you have room in your home for a sweet piggle like me? Ask to meet me today!

Meet Tweedle, a 2year old Cockatiel looking for a new home with her young friend Dee (ID#163978)! While these 2 are a bit stressed here at the shelter they display social behaviors and we think with patience & positive training, they will become a fantastic addition to your home. Ensure a well-balanced diet by including foods like commercially available cockatiel pellets, fresh green vegetables, seeds and unsweetened cereals. Dietary supplements like cuttlebones are useful for ensuring its calcium intake. These 2 are a bonded pair and must be adopted together, please make sure you have an appropriate cage as Cockatiels can live 10+years

These 2 are a bonded pair and must be adopted together so please make sure you have an appropriate cage as Cockatiels can live 10+years. Cockatiels are relatively vocal birds, the calls of the male being more varied than that of the female. Cockatiels can be taught to sing specific melodies and speak many words and phrases.

"TREVOR" aka "BALDUR" Happy adoption Update!

Oct 2018    Happy Adoption: Baldur (Trevor)

"It's officially been three months since we got Baldur (previously Trevor), and he has been the most amazing addition to the family. He's a bit of a blanket hog, and his bark sounds like a squeaky toy, but he's the best cuddler in the world! He's shown us that he is crazy-smart, and loves learning new commands and games. He's already walking better on the leash and is going to be beginning training soon to be a therapy animal and spread the love. Thank you so much to all the volunteers and staff that took care of him for the time he was in the shelter and for helping us find him!"

Hi, my name is Willie! I am a 10 year old American Shelter Dog mix. I am a shy guy looking for a quiet home to spend my glory years in! I came into the shelter with my pal Missy, she got adopted and now it is my chance! Once I warm up to you, I love booty rubs, I love to play, and will nuzzle into your legs for pets. I have successfully met other dogs, but any in the home should come and meet me first to make sure we get along. I will also need to go to a home with kids 15 years and older because I am so fearful at times. I have come a long way and the staff and volunteers have helped me overcome most of my fears, but I am looking for a patient home to help me blossom! Do you think you could provide that for me? Ask to meet me today!

Even at my age, I still have quite the get up and enjoy galloping around the yard. Please come and meet my sweet soul today! I do have some medical concerns, so please speak with your adoption counselor about my needs. I am looking for a retirement home where I can relax and enjoy the last moments of my life. Can't wait to meet you!

Gilda was in a foster home and on hold for a few weeks, to help her gain much needed weight.

" MADDY" delightful Cattle Dog

ADOPTED!
Oct 2018

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Maddy, female Cattle Dog, 5 yrs old, 46 lbs

here's my Mcas weblink(10/27 adoption pending)
 166762
My shelter name is Maddy. I am around 5 years old and weigh about 46lbs. Like most herding breed dogs, the shelter is especially overwhelming for a sensitive girl like me, but I have the right stuff to be a great companion. Once I get some time to settle into my new home I will be happiest being where my people are. I would love nothing more than to sit by you or trot along with you on walks. If you are seeking a true blue friend, then I am the dog for you! Through thick and thin, I will be by your side. I already know sit, down and walk pretty nicely on a leash. If there are any kids in my new home they should be at least 12 years old because I can be mildly fearful and younger kids would be too much for me. With some time and space to adjust I will blossom and show you my true personality.
