157432
I am Dewdrop, a friendly British Giant mix who has been around cats and kids. Though I am social, I am not keen on being picked up or held. In my previous home I was allowed full run of a large shed and play time in a yard with my siblings so I am learning to use my litter box but have the occasional accident while out playing. I love to hop, jump and climb on things. I am a curious bunny who would be good for a new rabbit owner.

Eclair has probably not been handled much in her past and is still learning that good things can happen when people pick her up. Like many animals bunnies are happiest with all four feet firmly on the ground! She as very good about using her litterbox and permits handling but was very anxious when picked up. (has gotten better) The more you practice gently picking her up, the easier it will be for both of you.

"CICILY" sweetie all american dog mix

ADOPTED!
Oct 2018

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Cicily, female american shelter dog mix, 8 yrs 64 lbs
Mcas weblink
164815
My name is Cicily and I am really happiest being where my people are. I would love nothing more than the curl up next to you or trot along with you on walks. If you are seeking a relaxed and easy-going friend to keep you company through your life, then I am the dog for you! The shelter staff have noted that I do have limited vision, I am not completely blind, and I can navigate bigger things like walls but it is harder for me to see smaller things on the ground. My new family will have to be willing to work through my vision issues, they sure don't slow me down though! Through thick and thin, I will be by your side. I can be fearful at times, so if you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 5 years.

Cicily has some vision issues. I didn't notice this when we had her out, but you can tell it in the pics. Cicily was a good sport throughout the rainy day photo attempt.  I really like her!

I'm Boo! A sweet and active Pitbull puppy fella searching for a home to call my own - preferably not haunted. I am only about 4 months old and have TONS of energy and need someone who can keep up with me and teach me good manners using positive, reward-based training so that I will be polite when we go trick-or-treating! When I get excited I use my mouth a bit rudely and so I need a home where any children are 5 years or older. Come and meet me today!

"BERNADETTE" pretty red Lab mix

ADOPTED!
Oct 2018
Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Bernadette, Lab mix
7 yrs, 79 lbs
here's my Mcas weblink
153299
Hey there! My name is Bernadette, a 7 year old Labrador mix lady. I am a little wary of new people, so I ask that you give me a little time to warm up, but once I do I am playful, and love going on walks. Am I going to be a cuddle bug with my new family? No, but I promise we can do other things, like play ball, or go on hikes! I do like the occasional chin scratch, or butt rub, but I am a very particular lady that knows what I like! I also have shown some resource guarding in the shelter an adoption counselor can go more into detail about what that means and how to handle it within the home! If there are and children in the home, they should be 12 years and older and should come meet me before going home with me! Do you think you could give me my forever home? I am in a quieter area of the kennels - please ask a staff member to meet me today!

"RHONDA" NEW VIDEO! In Foster Home - lovable little redhead Pitbull

ADOPTED!!!!!
Oct 2018

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!
Rhonda is in a Foster Home

Rhonda, female, pitbull mix - 3 yrs old, 44 lbs
 here's my  Mcas weblink
133300
I'm Rhonda. Is that a ball? I'm a sweet and playful Pitbull mix who loves to explore. Whoa! Is that a rope toy?! I'm looking for an active and patient family who would like to...SQUIRREL! Sorry, I would love some training with a skilled human who can help me be the best version of myself - I can get too excited and put my mouth on anything in front of me. Plus, training would be super fun bonding time with you! If you're ready to bring home this saucy redhead, I promise that...excuse me are you planning on throwing that ball any time soon? I will work on my attention span and show you how smart I really am. I've already learned lots like sit, down, drop it, and lets go! I also have fabulous house manners, I haven't had any messes in my foster home and I LOVE car rides! At the end of the day my favorite thing is to curl up next to you and cuddle, sometimes with a toy... did I mention I love toys?! In return, you can provide me with an adult-only home with no other distracting pets who would never be as fun as I am anyway. I am about 3 years old. I weigh 40 pounds. And it is quite possible I will explode if you do not play with me right this minute. If you are interested in meeting me, please email my foster mom at molly.cansler@gmail.com to set up a time to meet me!

"SKYLAR" senior Gent at Family Dogs New Life Shelter

Skylar had an MCAS volunteer fan club before transferring.
If you're looking for an easy going guy check out Skylar at Family Dogs!

Available for adoption at Family Dogs New Life Shelter

Labrador Retriever + Pit Bull Terrier Mix
8 years old
Male
61 pounds

Skylar! Skylar! Skylar! That’s what the masses chant when I walk by. Yeah, I am a hero of sorts. I hold the Guinness World Record for the best canine companion. Now don’t you worry…I’m not expecting any sort of award, just the reward of a forever family that I can bestow my companionship upon. I’m a curious, laid-back yet adventurous dude who’s mature but up for anything. I’m even crate trained already and get along great with other dogs. I even love children too, but never learned to share, so I’m looking for a family with kids who are old enough to understand not to try and take my toys away. Now I just need a cat-free family ready for a companion of my caliber. Should be easy for me to find…I mean, holding that record and all…
8 years old-61lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.
