"HADLEY aka " PUA MANOGI" Happy Adoption UPDATE!

Happy Adoption Update!
 "Hadley" aka "Pua Manogi"
June 2020
" We are overjoyed with miss Pua Manogi W. and can’t thank the staff enough at Mutnomah Animal shelter for helping us bring home our baby. Hadley ( former ) touched our hearts not only because of her calm and kind demeanor but her story as well. Remembering how teary me and my husband got when we found out that her owners couldn’t take care of her and her cat companion. We thank them and know that they cared for her the best because she was very healthy and we can see that she was loved, it must have been hard for her former family to give her up.
The staff at the shelter helped us and let us hold her and even gave us a loaner carrying case to bring her home. Me and my husband are currently going to apply to be volunteers to help advocate for these bunny and other small animals. Pua (formerly know as Hadley) shares her home with her brother Puka (lion head eight months) and Tama (1 year old dwarf hamster). She is free roamed and loves to eat hay and veggies, lounges on her bed ( large dog bed won’t share lol) and loves to dress up.
We can’t thank the shelter enough for giving us the opportunity to bring her home. We love this girl soo much and look forward to helping other bunnies in need the best we can! We love you Pua ( plumeria in Samoan ) Manogi ( smell

Or scent ).
We want to share the happiness this girl brought us to those within the bunny community and people we have surround us everyday!"  Monique W

Hadley is a shy, adult rabbit who appears to be quite comfortable with people. Being consistently gentle with this big girl has paid off and she is very calm when held securely. Like most rabbits, Hadley is cautious around new people and situations. If you want to get on her good side bring fresh greens, she is very fond of cilantro and parsley!

===================
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue
Meet Ava! She’s a 4 1/2 year old pit bull mix (60 lbs) with a lot of love to give! She has been in and out of the shelter for a few years, no fault of her own. She is extremely well mannered in the home. She doesn’t jump up, beg, bark, whine, or complain about anything! Her favorite spot is next to her human, where ever that is. She is so easy going and mellow but also very much enjoy walks. She is not a marathon runner but loves her daily casual strolls around the neighborhood and she is great on a leash! She also loves car rides and sits perfect in the seat. She is friendly with everyone and anyone but is also a protector if need be. She is very good in a home left alone. She does not chew on things, she does not have separation anxiety, she just waits patiently for her human to come home. Her perfect home would be someone who wants a companion to do life with whether it’s watch movies or travel the country in an RV... she’s a ride-or-die kind of girl. She needs to be the only pet in the home so she can have all the love to herself.. something she has never had before and deserves more than anything. Apply online at www.BAPBR.org - if you’re interested in giving this sweet girl a forever home 💕

"Guess what? Our sweet elder-bull “Snowglobe” officially started his “Foster-to-adopt” trial with his new dad Dean! We are so happy for Snowglobe! 🖤He found the perfect home and he even has his own little red wagon now. A big thank you to Multnomah County Animal Services for sustaining Snowglobe for months at the shelter before coming to BAPBR.
And a huge thank you to his foster mom Angie"

Transferred and Available with
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue
Snowglobe is looking for a family that wants a companion and friend. He’s truly a velcro dog. He’s always by your feet (when he's not sleeping, of course). He also LOVES to go on walks and tends to be stubborn on walks— so someone who has time to saunter and enjoy a nice walk with no destination in mind, because he definitely knows where HE wants to go. 😂 otherwise he’s sunbathing and rides great in the car! He is housebroken and is on a potty schedule — however he needs a bit of physical and mental stimulation to keep him from being anxious/restless and having accidents in the house. PS.... He has a blue blanket that is his security blanket...he sleeps on it wherever it is...found him sorta squished in between the couch and ottoman when I got home last night because that's where the blanket fell. 😂 ADOPT SNOWGLOBE 🥰 ➡️ Apply online www.bapbr.org

"CLARA" adorable quirky lovable pocket pittie/chi mix

ADOPTED!
Apr 2020
Will miss you so much sweetie!!

Clara is around one year old, 32 lbs and a ‘pocket’ pittie mix.
Hi my name is Clara and I am just barely a year old. I found myself pretty afraid in a shelter. My foster mom taught me lots of things after I got into her home. I am house trained (not a fan of rain), I ride in a crate in the car but I don’t need one if the house. I watch delivery people and don’t even bark!
My foster mom says I am a sound sleeper and I love to burrow under the blanket on the dog bed. I am very affectionate with my foster mom and love to watch a good movie. I am looking forward to getting my own family or person so I can bond forever. I went to some dog classes with my foster mom too!
I am still afraid of many things. I do not like to jump in the car (I get picked up to go in my crate, I also can sometimes get car sick). Kids and their loudness, and sometimes strangers on walks make me nervous.
Here is what my perfect home would look like. I love quiet homes. I want a person who likes to stay home and when you go somewhere I can wait for you at home. I am quiet at home so if you work from home I will not contribute to your meetings. Do you like to garden? I love to watch! I love a stick or toy or exploring and sniffing. I can be super playful. I am great when your friends come to visit.
I do like walks and I may even be a good running buddy but I am not a dog park girl and I am not a big fan of meeting dogs on my walks, especially big ones. I am a fan of quiet and calmness.
If you are interested in meeting this me, please send a completed application (found on our website Our Adoption Policy – My Way Home Dog Rescue to the rescue and my foster mom will give you details about me and answer any questions.
http://mywayhomedogrescue.org/wp/our-adoption-policy/
I am up to date on all of vaccinations, spayed, flea/tick treatment, heartworm tested and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.

Hi Pippi here! A fun and energetic girl that loves booty rubs, my toys, and walks! I also love to give kisses! It would definitely be beneficial to me to get into some training classes to become a more refined pup, because I do pull on leash a little and jump up when I am excited. If you are an active home that is searching for a buddy, search no further! The shelter is recommending I go home with kids 5 and up due to how jumpy I am, but it is not required! I do need to be the only dog in the home.

"EMMA" black Lab HAPPY ADOPTION UPDATE!

EMMA Happy Adoption Update!   Mar 2020

" I was just going through Emma's file and came across your business card. Emma is doing amazing. She is still full of energy, but that's what we love about her. She is also one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. She and Lily, are truly sisters and adore one another. We recently got another corgi. She and Emma have had some boundary issues, but mostly get along. I am so happy that I found her at the shelter. She needed love, patience, room to run and puppy friends."  Melanie S

Hi new potential family! My name is Emma, a 8 month old Black Lab. I am an energetic lady looking for an energetic family that can keep up with me! Do you like to hike? Great! I would make an excellent hiking partner. Do you like to run? Even better! I would make an excellent running buddy! I also REALLY like to fetch, and will fetch anything from squeaky toys to tennis balls. Did I mention I have a lot of energy!? My ideal family will continue my positive rewards based training, and understand that I will NOT be a couch potato. Sure, I'd love to Netflix and chill once I am tired, but I am also a young pup, and will get into mischief when I get bored. You know what they say, a tired dog is a happy dog! I am a bit jumpy, so any smaller children under the age of 5 should come meet me before going home with me to make sure they can handle my energy level, and any canine pals should come in to meet me as well!  8 mths, 50 lbs and growing.

I am Bailey, a nice little gentleman. I like playing tug, but don't be alarmed if I get talky and play growl, it's just my way of telling you I'm having a good time. I also like playing fetch and will drop the toy by you, push it towards you with my nose and bark to let you know I'm ready for you to throw it again. I'm so irresistible, that I will keep you busy playing and make you laugh with my antics. I will need regular grooming and ear care to be my very best.
