What my friends at OHS say about me:
- I'm a lovebug looking for the perfect place to spend my golden years.
- Give me treats and pets and you will be my new favorite person.
- I may look like a big boy, but I'll do my best to convince you I'm a lap dog!
- My friends call me a "couch potato" because my favorite thing to do is laze around the house.
- I would much prefer a leisurely sniffari walk than joining you for anything fast paced.
- Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
- High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
- I have chronic skin issues which will require long term management. It can be caused by different factors such as fleas, food or environmental factors.
- I have chronic ear infections which will require long term management.
- I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here.
The type of home I'm looking for:
- I would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
- I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
- While I may be okay with the occasional canine friend, I'll probably never be a dog park kind of dog.
- I need a home without cats or other small animals.
- I need to go to a home without small children.
- It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
Interested in adopting me?
Animals available for adoption in foster homes need a special questionnaire submitted. From there, we will make an initial appointment for a phone consult to discuss their needs, and then schedule a meet and greet. Appointments are set on a first-come first-served basis in the order that we receive the questionnaires.
