What my friends at OHS say about me:

  • I'm a lovebug looking for the perfect place to spend my golden years.
  • Give me treats and pets and you will be my new favorite person.
  • I may look like a big boy, but I'll do my best to convince you I'm a lap dog!
  • My friends call me a "couch potato" because my favorite thing to do is laze around the house.
  • I would much prefer a leisurely sniffari walk than joining you for anything fast paced.
  • Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
  • High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
  • I have chronic skin issues which will require long term management. It can be caused by different factors such as fleas, food or environmental factors.
  • I have chronic ear infections which will require long term management.
  • I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here.

The type of home I'm looking for:

  • I would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
  • I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • While I may be okay with the occasional canine friend, I'll probably never be a dog park kind of dog.
  • I need a home without cats or other small animals.
  • I need to go to a home without small children.
  • It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.

Interested in adopting me?

Animals available for adoption in foster homes need a special questionnaire submitted. From there, we will make an initial appointment for a phone consult to discuss their needs, and then schedule a meet and greet. Appointments are set on a first-come first-served basis in the order that we receive the questionnaires.
