"WAYLON" AVAILABLE for ADOPTION with "AGAVE RESCUE"
"No one came to see 4.5 month old Waylon at our adoption event today but he still wore a smile and was all dressed up as his sweet self
Waylon is such a happy puppy despite sitting in rescue for two full months now. The last photo was his intake photo and it saddens us to see our puppies growing up in foster rather than bonding with adoptive families.

Meet Waylon
Waylon would make an amazing adventure buddy for a person who
likes to take their dog out and about. He's pretty much up for anything!
Waylon was rescued after being dumped with his four litter mates in an
orchard in California. We have the video of their rescue if you'd like
to see it and they are so happy to have been found by our rescue
partners.
- Approximate date of birth: 4/2/25
- Weighs 20 pounds at 16 weeks old
- Possibly a Pit Bull/German shepherd mix but we are only taking our best guess as we have no parent dogs to reference.
- Social, happy, playful puppy who loves people and other dogs. Waylon really enjoys dog friends and is eager to play with the two adult, large breed dogs in his foster home. He is also fostered with a senior small dog and he is respectful with that little dog.
- Likely fine with cats but we have not seen him with any yet. He is young and very trainable still so we are hopeful he could acclimate to life with cats in a home still.
- Fine with gentle kids
- Learning crate training, potty training and walking on leash
- Playful boy who loves his toys and human cuddles
Waylon has had three rounds of puppy vaccines and dewormer, rabies vaccine, is microchipped, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery at our partner vet clinic in Milwaukie, Oregon between 6 months to 1 year of age. It also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland, or Tualatin.
$250 adoption fee
Fostered in Lincoln City, Oregon and Portland, Oregon. His foster mom goes between two homes and is happy to coordinate a meet in Portland or take a day trip to the beach to go meet Waylon there - so fun!
