Want to see for yourself why Blue gets such good reviews? Apply to adopt on our website. https://www.stumptownstrays.org/adoption-application

We expect Blue to be less than 40 pounds fully grown. Her adopter should want to continue her training and should be an active person. Blue is current on her flea and heartworm preventatives and has had a negative fecal test. Although Blue’s eye has a cloudy scar, she can see just fine, and we expect the scar to continue to fade over time. Her adoption fee is $400.

Blue, our 5 month old 24 pound cattle dog mix, came to us after having been found stray with an injured eye. She had glowing reviews from the shelter and we had high hopes for what an excellent dog she would be. Blue, of course, exceeded our expectations. We admittedly give every dog an A+, but Blue is especially deserving of high marks. Now that our (nearly) perfect Blue is healed, we’re excited to match her with an A+ family.

Crate and potty trained, Blue excels at puppyhood. She is good on a leash and loves going on adventures. Blue is delighted to meet everyone and is great with dogs, both big and small. Although her cat roommate makes her a touch nervous, Blue is very respectful of cats in general. Being a puppy, Blue is still working on not jumping up or being too mouthy. Despite this, Blue is good around kids (as long as the parents can help control her exuberance). Blue, however, is less good around shoes. Fortunately, she will trade your sandal for a snack.
