"ROSA' tiny adult CHIHUAHUA "STUMPTOWN STRAYS"

UPDATE 3/9/25 ADOPTED or on hold

"Stumptown Strays" is a wonderful local Rescue that helps shelter dogs in need of medical assistance.

"ROSA"  Available for adoption with STUMPTOWN STRAYS

listed as Chihuahua housetrained

spayed female, 8 yrs, 7 lbs   adoption fee $300

Personality: Affectionate, Dignified, Friendly, Gentle, Loves

Rosa, our 8 year old 7 pound chihuahua, is often muttering to herself. Not loudly, but Rosa is frequently grunting, snorting, and squeaking. We always wish we spoke dog, but never more so than when we're around Rosa. Although we may never know what she's muttering about, we suspect she has deep thoughts (all chihuahuas have deep thoughts). Let's find Rosa a home that is willing to help translate.

Found stray in Portland, we were asked to help with Rosa's dental disease.
We diagnosed her with a quiet heart murmur on intake. There was no evidence of significant heart disease, so the murmur will just need to be monitored for now. We got to work spaying Rosa and cleaning her teeth; she had to lose a few, but they were the ones she didn't like anyway.

Friendly, leash trained, great with dogs and cat tolerant, Rosa is fun to have around. She is potty trained and not destructive when left alone. We think Rosa would be fine in a home with respectful kids. Rosa loves stuffies, cuddling, walks, sunspots and is only afraid of failure.

Rosa is heartworm negative and is current on her flea and heartworm preventatives.

Now that we're really listening, it's possible Rosa is muttering the lyrics to "Not Like Us". We knew it was a bad idea to let her watch the half-time show.
