"OSO" PERMANENT FOSTER NEEDED "OLD DOG HAVEN"

OLD DOG HAVEN  FB  post for Permanent Foster needed for OSO   12/22/25

"Old Dog Haven PERMANENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED:

(located in W. Washington state or Portland OR only)
"Oso" (the name given by the shelter) is a neutered male, perhaps a shepherd mix who weighs 44 pounds. He is VERY THIN;. The shelter thinks he's 14 years old per his microchip.
Oso was a "stray" eating from garbage cans and the shelter hasn't done
any medical assessment so we don't know anything about his health.
They report that he sleeps a lot, is potty trained, and is a sweet old
man. If you have room for an old guy that doesn't deserve to end
alone in a shelter, please let us know.
If you'd like to give this boy the forever home he needs as an Old Dog Haven dog, our organization will take of all vet bills (thanks to donors), we would love to hear from you! Our hope is to get him out of the shelter ASAP. If you are interested, please go to our website and then email our applications manager. We do not have our foster application available on our website. You will find the email in the informative link below:

about Old Dog Haven   Western Washington, Spokane and Portland, OR only

"Can you provide a home for a senior dog? Old Dog Haven places unadoptable dogs with families like yours across Western Washington state.
When you take a dog into your home we pay the medical costs-you provide the food and love.
We need Final Refuge Homes where the dog can stay for the rest of it's life, which can be weeks, months or years.
We always have a waiting list and for many dogs, Old Dog Haven is their only chance for a home or continued life.
It's a commitment but it's paid back in joy. Interested?" Contact us! https://olddoghaven.org/how-to-help/fostering/
