What my friends at OHS say about me:

  • I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.
  • To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
  • I love to be in the spotlight! With my dashing good looks and undeniable charm, I'm ready to be the star of the show.
  • I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things. I already know some basic cues such as, sit, down, & stay and I'm putting in the work to learn how to walk nicely on leash!
  • High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my physical and mental exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
  • I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you.
  • Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
  • My playful antics and endless affection are sure to make you smile and always brighten your day!
  • I hope you aren't afraid of insects because I'm an adorable cuddle bug!
  • I had so much fun meeting another dog here in the shelter. My friends at OHS think I would be great at making new dog friends!
  • The type of home I'm looking for:

  • I would flourish in a quiet, calm environment and a low-traffic home. No busy apartments or dwellings.
  • I need to go to a home without small children. I am oblivious to my large size, and my big, goofy ways may be too much for young kids.
  • I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • I need a home without cats or other small animals.
  • It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
