In Foster Home

Melissa is a fun and energetic puppy! She is all puppy which means she does jump and nibble and will need some training and support with that as she grows. She does well in her crate with just a few whimpers but calms down in there. She is living with dogs, cats, and small animals in her foster home. She is great with other dogs but is still learning to recognize their cues and so will need a patient dog friend and or some socializing support to learn how to be a pup. She is curious about cats but doesn't seem to care about them too much. However she is a ball of rough and tumble so we recommend dog savvy cats as she doesn't quite know her size or speed yet. She loves to give kisses and wants to be with people 24/7. She likes to follow along and is always curious about what they are doing. She has found toys and tug of war is becoming a favorite. Her zoomies are intense and she zoomies all over the place! Melissa will bark at the unknown or people that she sees outside. She will also need some training on leash, but that just goes along with her being a puppy. Overall Melissa is a fun and energetic puppy that will require a space to be herself. She will need room to run and opportunities for mental stimulation as she is a busy girl. She is also doing well with potty training, but continued work and consistency on this will be key!
